Retractable temporary horizontal lifeline

- Retractable wire rope horizontal lifeline, max. length 18 m, extremely easy to install, lightweight, ready to use.

- Quick dismantling and re-installation on a new site thanks to the inbuilt winch.

- Durable and high strength polymer casings, with carrying handle having a tension indicator.

- Inbuilt shock absorption mechanism to limit the impact forces during fall arrest.

- The cable has a swivel snap hook in order to avoid the twisting of the rope.

- Can be simultaneously used by 1 or 2 people.

- Can be used in ATEX atmosphere (zone 1).

- 6.0 mm dia. galvanized steel wire rope.

Can this piece of equipment be used as rescue fall arrest, I.e if someone fell over the edge 10 mtrs up could you safely controlled lower them down with this winch to ground level?

So this product would not be suitable for this request is to be used as an anchorage device only, working horizontally allowing you to clip onto the wire using a fall arrest product that can arrest the fall along the horizontal span.

What you can use is a recovery winch fall arrest block, in the event of the fall you can lift them back up, you shouldn’t use this product to lower down though.
