KITO - Grade 8 DNV Master Link - F - to BS-EN 1677-4

  • Manufactured with special alloy steels having good ductility (42J min.) at low temperatures (-40ºC)
  • Purple painted finish.
  • Hardness value of 32-35 HRC providing superior protection from Hydrogen embrittlement.
  • Average impact energy (Charpy) at -40°C: 42 Joules minimum.
  • Operational temperature range: -40°C to + 200°C.
  • Conforms to BS EN 1677-4.
  • Certified to International Standards DNVGL-ST-E271 – 2.7-1, DNVGL-ST-E273 – 2.7-3, BS EN ISO 10855-2.
  • Specially designed for use on offshore containers.
  • Minimum breaking load is 5 times the W.L.L.
  • Individually proof tested to 2.5 times the W.L.L.
  • Certification - Declaration of Conformity, DNV GL 2.7-1
