The Chain Block, commonly known as a hand chain hoist or block and tackle is a useful tool for many manual handling applications. Lifting capacities range from 0.25 to 10.0t with unlimited travel possible. Operation is via the hand chain, a simple but effective mechanical advantage to lift or lower heavy loads.
