Description
Description
High Tensile Rectangular Base Deck Plate.
- High tensile steel.
- Self colour finish.
- Based upon the Admiralty Pattern.
- W.L.L. is subject to correct welding procedures being carried out.
- Marked with CE, size, traceability code and proof load.
- Certification available.
The desk plate is manufactured from heavy-duty steel, it is designed to be welded directly onto structural surfaces such as trailer beds, vehicle chassis, machinery frames, platforms and marine decks.
Once installed, the plate forms a secure, load-bearing foundation for attaching D-rings, shackles, hoists, winches, tie-down points, and other rigging hardware. Its flat profile ensures excellent load distribution while minimising stress concentrations, offering long-term reliability in demanding industrial, transport, construction, and marine environments.
Engineered for high strength, ease of installation, and continuous service, this deck plate is an essential component for creating fixed attachment points where safety and durability are critical.
Typical Use Cases:
- Permanent tie-down or lifting point
- Base plate for hoists, winches, or rigging hardware
- Mounting platform for load-rated anchors
- Cargo securing point on trailers, trucks, and marine decks
Key Features:
- Heavy-duty welded steel construction
- High load-bearing capability
- Flat profile for improved load distribution
- Suitable for industrial, marine, transport & construction applications
- Designed for easy welding to steel structures
Each deck plate is stamped with its corresponding proof load rating from 2 tonnes to 50 tonnes. Please note that the final WLL (Working Load Limit) is dependent on the welding procedure being carried out correctly and in accordance with industry standards.
Once installation is complete, it is essential that all welds are visually inspected and, where required, load tested to verify that the attachment point has been welded safely and to the correct specification.
