The STOP is a durable fall arrester (SRL 2-way) available with a steel or synthetic lifeline, in lengths of 10m (33 ft), 14m (46 ft), 25m (82 ft) & 30m (98 ft).

The Globestock STOP fall arrester is manufactured using precision machined components. The inertia reel’s internal components are manufactured using bronze, stainless steel and aluminium. This ensures complete reliability and high performance even in the harshest of environments, making the STOP fall arrester the perfect choice of safety equipment even for offshore and mining operations.

The STOP fall arrester offers the user full protection from falling whilst allowing complete mobility when working at height. Should a fall occur, the self-retracting lifeline (SRL) will be pulled out of the block at an accelerating rate and, when cable speed of approximately 1.5/sec is reached, the braking system is activated. Once activated, the fall is quickly and smoothly arrested exerting minimal forces upon the user’s body. When the load is released the cable automatically retracts back into the fall arrest block.

The STOP fall arrester can be mounted vertically above the user or horizontally, in conjunction with a suitable anchorage point. It can also be used in conjunction with the Globestock SENTRY Tripod.

The STOP load arrestors and SRLs are supplied in the colours pictured. We also have the option of powder coating in any colour, to suit your brand colours or just to make the unit more inconspicuous. Please email us for a quote.
